Good Neighbours Day Returns to Milton
Good Neighbours Day, the popular community-led, volunteer neighbourhood clean-up program founded in 1992 by former Ward 2 resident, the late Len Lee (1942 – 2023), will return on Saturday April 27th after a five-year hiatus.
Starting off with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. at Hugh Foster Hall, located beside Town Hall, volunteers will be given their tasks, a t-shirt and cleaning products and, by 9 a.m. they will be on their way for a half-day or full day of cleaning parks, walking areas, hiking areas, roadsides and ditches, the banks of 16 Mile Creek or the Mill Pond and private property owned by local senior citizens.
